Fort Worth Police Department Filming Project
1 Parties and Purpose
This Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) is between the City of Fort Worth, acting through
the Fort Worth Police Department (FWPD), and Dana Safety Supply, Inc. (DSS). It establishes
the arrangements for filming and officer interviews for a DSS video showing how public safety
vehicle equipment supports department operations and the officers who use it.
2 Filming Activities
DSS will coordinate with FWPD to ride along with up to four officers, conduct interviews, and
film approved patrol operations, including live calls when permitted by FWPD. Filming will focus
on equipment in use during day-to-day operations. FWPD will determine participating officers,
approved locations, access, and scheduling.
Interview topics will include emergency vehicle lighting and sirens; equipment layout and ease
of officer interaction; lighting effectiveness; white scene lighting; intersection clearing; and
officers' perspectives on the protection provided by BallisTech® vehicle armoring. Officers will
be encouraged to share their own experiences and opinions.
The Tuesday, September 15, 2026 video shoot will also include a live fire demonstration of
BallisTech® Vehicle Armoring Solutions at the FWPD indoor range. A FWPD range officer will be
asked to perform the firing sequences, subject to FWPD confirmation. The demonstration and
filming will follow FWPD range rules and the range officer's direction. DSS will clean the range
and remove all glass and demonstration debris after the shoot.

6 Footage Review and Intended Use
DSS intends to use footage captured during this project as ongoing marketing and
communications material, including completed videos, interviews, b -roll, still images, social
media content, website content, presentations, advertising, and other promotional materials.

written approval. FWPD review will be limited to confidentiality, privacy, sensitive information,
operational needs, security or infrastructure, and factual accuracy. DSS will address specific
concerns identified by FWPD before using the affected material.
Once approved, the footage and interview segments may be retained and reused by DSS on an
ongoing basis without additional review or approval for each use unless expressly revoked by
the City of Fort Forth or FWPD. This permission includes editing, shortening, cropping,

address specific concerns identified by FWPD before using the affected material.
