Home My WebLink About061212-A1 - General - Contract - Molas Schechter & Associates, LLCCSC No. 61212 -Al FIRST AMENDMENT TO FORT W TH CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT NO. 61212 BETWEEN CITY OF FORT W TH AND MOLAS SCHECHTER & ASSOCIATES, LLC First Amendment to Fort Worth City Secretary Contract No. 61212 is made between the City of Fort Worth ("Fort Worth" or "City"), a home -rule municipal corporation, and Molas Schechter & Associates, LLC ("Vendor"). City and Vendor shall be referred to as a "party" and collectively as the "parties". WHEREAS, City and Vendor entered into an Agreement identified as Fort Worth City Secretary Contract No. 61212 ("Agreement") with the second renewal term from April 1, 2026 to March 31, 2027; and WHEREAS, the Parties wish to amend Exhibit A Scope of Service of the agreement to include additional appraisal services. WHEREAS, the Parties wish to amend Exhibit B Payment Schedule of the agreement to include additional appraisal services. WHEREAS, the Parties now wish to amend the Agreement to increase the total annual compensation amount from $7,500.00 to a new total not -to -exceed amount of $30,000.00. NOW THEREFORE, known by all these present, Parties, acting herein by the through their duly authorized representatives, agree to the following terms, which amend the Agreement as follows: I. AMENDMENTS The following term is hereby amended to replace any conflicting term in the Agreement and shall be binding and enforceable as if it were originally included therein: 1. Compensation. City shall pay Vendor in accordance with the fee schedule of Vendor personnel who perform services under this Agreement in accordance with the provisions of this Agreement and Exhibit "B," - Price Schedule. Total payment made under this Agreement for the first year by City shall be in an amount up to Thirty Thousand Dollars ($30,000.00). Vendor shall not perform any additional services or bill for expenses incurred for City not specified by this Agreement unless City requests and approves in writing the additional costs for such services. City shall not be liable for any additional expenses of Vendor not specified by this Agreement unless City first approves such expenses in writing. 2. Exhibit A, "Scope of Services," of the Agreement is hereby deleted in its entirety and replaced with Attachment "A" of this First Amendment. OFFICIAL RECORD CITY SECRETARY FT. ALL OTHER TERMS SHALL REMAIN THE SAME All other terms, provisions, conditions, covenants and recitals of the Agreement not expressly amended herein shall remain in full force and effect. IH. ELECTRONIC SIGNATURE This Amendment may be executed in multiple counterparts, each of which shall be an original and all of which shall constitute one and the same instrument. Barbara Goodwin, Page Two The purpose of the appraisals will be to develop an opinion of the market value of each tract, as vacant, as of date of inspection. The reports will comply with the reporting requirements set forth under Standards Rule 2-2(a) of Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice as promulgated by the Appraisal Foundation and will comply with the City of Fort Worth Appraisal Guidelines. The fee for this service will be TWO THOUSAND DOLLARS per parcel, for a total of TWENTY-EIGHT THOUSAND DOLLARS ($28,000). It is estimated the appraisals could be completed approximately 90 days from engagement. Engagement is defined as the date a signed copy of this letter and all necessary documentation related to the project has been returned to me. Please provide any maps, survey and legal description, property owner contact information, title information and/or other documents considered relevant to the assignment. Consultation, updates, pre-trial preparation, deposition, testimony, etc., if any, regarding the assignment will be billed at $300.00 per hour, including travel time. The appraisals will be prepared assuming my standard Certification and Assumptions and Limiting Conditions, copies of which have previously been provided to you.
