Proposal for Engineering Services
Dear Mr. Vaughn
Thank you for requesting a proposal for the Eastside 42 -inch Transmission Main project located in Fort
Worth, Texas. Pape -Dawson is currently designing a 42 -inch water transmission main along N. Beach St.
(from IH-820 to Western Center Blvd.) for the City of Fort Worth. According to Pape -Dawson, the pipeline
material is anticipated to be steel or bar wrapped pipe. Following a previous corrosion study which
indicated the need for a cathodic protection system, Pape -Dawson is requesting a cathodic protection
system design for the proposed pipeline. V&A Consulting Engineers, Inc. (V&A) is prepared to provide
cathodic protection system design drawings, specifications, bidding assistance and opinion of probable
construction cost.
Per your request, the following is our proposal and detailed scope of work for the subject services:

requested, submittals will be invoiced on a time and materials basis at the rates shown on the
attached Resource Allocation Estimate.
