1 CALL TO ORDER
With a quorum of the City Council Members present, Mayor Pro Tem Carlos E. Flores called the
City Council Regular Session of the Fort Worth City Council to order at 4:05 pm on September 1,
2026 in the City Council Chamber of the Fort Worth City Hall, 100 Fort Worth Trail, Fort Worth,
Texas.

2 PUBLIC HEARING
2.1 (26-6095) FY27 Proposed Budget
(ALL) Conduct Public Hearing on Fiscal Year 2027 Proposed Budget
(PUBLIC HEARING - a. Staff Available for Questions: Christianne Simmons; b. Public
Comment; c. Council Action: Close Public Hearing)
Mayor Pro Tem Carlos E. Flores opened the public hearing.
a. Report of City Staff
Christianne Simmons provided a presentation and was available for questions.
b. Public Comment
Adrian Smith appeared before Council in opposition to 2.1 (26-6095).
c. Council Action
Motion: Council Member Michael D. Crain made a motion, seconded by Council Member
Dr. Mia Hall, that the public hearing be closed and to continue consideration of the
budget to the September 15th Council meeting. Motion passed 8-0. Mayor Parker and
Council Members Lauersdorf and Hill absent.
4 ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business, Mayor Pro Tem Carlos E. Flores adjourned the meeting at 2:12
pm.
