A RESOLUTION SUPPORTING THE CONSTRUCTION OF STATE
HIGHWAY SPUR 170 FROM INTERMODAL PARKWAY TO
STATE HIGHWAY 170 (SPUR 170 PROJECT)
WHEREAS, the City of Fort Worth ("City"), in conjunction with Tarrant
County and the Texas Department of Transportation ("TxDOT"), desires to improve
regional mobility and increase public benefit; and
WHEREAS, the Spur 170 Project proposed by TxDOT will provide a significant
public benefit by reducing traffic congestion in a region with a rapidly growing
population through the construction of State Highway SPUR 170 from Intermodal
Parkway to State Highway 170; and
WHEREAS, the City supports the construction of State Highway SPUR 170
from Intermodal Parkway to State Highway 170.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS THAT:
1. The City Council of the City of Fort Worth, Texas hereby supports the
construction of State Highway SPUR 170, a state highway system facility, from
Intermodal Parkway to State Highway 170.
