AMENDMENT 1 AND RENEWAL 5 TO
CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT NO. 56949
This Amendment and Renewal is entered into by and between the CITY OF FORT
W TH ("City"), a Texas home -rule municipality, and AMON CARTER MUSEUM OF
AMERICAN ART ("Vendor"). City and Vendor shall be referred to individually as a "Party"
and collectively as the "Parties".
WHEREAS, Parties previously entered into City of Fort Worth City Secretary Contract
56949 ("Agreement") on January 7, 2022;
WHEREAS, City desires to sponsor a series of discussions about American artworks to
support the Library's arts and culture goals;
WHEREAS, Agreement allows for annual renewals so long as the Parties mutually agree
to renew the Contract;
WHEREAS, Parties now wish to renew the Agreement for an additional term from
February 1, 2027 to January 31, 2028; and
WHEREAS, Parties also wish to amend the Agreement to add additional Performance
Dates onto Attachment A of the Agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, Parties, acting herein by and through their duly -authorized
representatives, enter into the following agreement:

AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT
The following terms are hereby amended to replace the referenced terms in the
Agreement and shall be binding and enforceable as if they were originally included therein:
A. ATTACHMENT A — PERFORMANCE DETAILS is hereby replaced in its entirety with
the attached revised Attachment A — Performance Dates.

RFNFWAT,
The term of the Agreement, as amended, is hereby renewed for an additional year to
begin on February 1, 2027 and expire on January 31, 2028, unless terminated earlier in accordance
with the Agreement.

ALL OTHER TERMS SHALL REMAIN THE SAME
All other provisions of the Agreement which are not expressly amended herein shall
remain in full force and effect.
4.
ELECTRONIC SIGNATURE
This Amendment and Renewal may be executed in multiple counterparts, each of
which shall be an original and all of which shall constitute one and the same instrument.
A facsimile copy or computer image, such as a PDF or tiff image, or a signature, shall be
treated as and shall have the same effect as an original.
