SUBJECT: 2027 PROPOSED COUNCIL MEETING SCHEDULE - JANNETTE GOODALL, CITY

TO THE MAYOR AND MEMBERS OF THE CITY COUNCIL
The purpose of this Informal Report is to provide the attached proposed Council Meeting
Schedule for 2027. The schedule consists of 52 scheduled Council meetings as follows:
• 21 - Council Work Sessions
• 11 - Zoning Council Meetings (6 PM)
• 11 - Day Council Meetings (1 PM)
• 8 - Budget Work Sessions (April 20, May 4 and 11; June 8 and 29; August 3, 17 and 31)
• 1 - Canvassing Meeting (May General Election
The schedule takes into consideration the following:
• No meetings following a Monday holiday
• No meetings during Spring Break or the month of July
• Scheduling to accommodate National Night Out, National League of Cities and the Texas
Municipal League Conferences
• Day meetings will start at 1 PM and be preceded by a Work Session which starts at 10 AM.
• January 5 - Second Public Hearing on Data Center Moratorium
• June General Election Runoff Date is pending.
