Seven irrigation adjustments and relocations are required at the locations shown in the attached plan sheets under this Construction Allowance. The contractor agrees to perform the irrigation work, consisting of 634 LF of pipe and appurtenances, for a lump sum of $23,539.50 (approximately $37.13/LF). For comparison, project 103281 included 108 LF of irrigation pipe for a lump sum of $4,589.24 (approximately $42.49/LF). In addition, the electric line serving the monument sign at 4530 Keller Hicks was found to be too shallow for planned grading and requires relocation to a lower depth. The contractor proposes to complete this work, consisting of 240 LF of electrical line repair, for a lump sum of $6,236.07 (approximately $25.98/LF). On project 101014, the City received a bid of $29.40/LF for electrical conduit. Staff considers the proposed pricing reasonable. It is understood and agreed that the acceptance of this Construction Allowance Request by the contractor constitutes an accord and satisfaction and represents payment in full (both time and money) for all costs arising out of, or incidental to, the above Construction Allowance Request. The Project/Program Manager signing below acknowledges that he/she is the person responsible for the monitoring and administration of this contract, including ensuring all performance and reporting requirements.
