MEMORANDUM

RE: DESIGN FEE AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO MAIN 293 DRAINAGE AREA
SANITARY SEWER SYSTEM EVALUATION STUDY AND IMPROVE-
MENTS (GROUP 7, CONTRACT 6), DOE NO. 1722, SEWER PROJECT
NO. PS46-070460410340
The proposed amendment will allow Dunaway Associates, Inc., to provide additional design and
survey services on the project as requested by the City.
It has been determined that it is necessary to replace approximately 1,300 linear feet of severely
deteriorated sewer lines located within the project area. The poor condition of the sewer lines
was unknown prior to approval of the original contract.
Dunaway Associates, Inc., has submitted a fee in the amount of $14,488.00 for the additional
survey and design services to be performed thereby increasing the contract fee from $117,646.80
to $132,134.80. I believe this fee is fair and reasonable for additional services that are to be pro-
vided and recommend approval.
Please authorize the additional fee by your signatures on the attached contract amendment form.
