RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the City Council authorize execution of a purchase agreement with Lowe's Home Centers, LLC using a Omnia Partners
cooperative contract for maintenance, repair, and operating supplies in an annual amount up to $300,000.00 and authorize three renewals for the
same amount for all City Departments.
DISCUSSION:
The purpose of this Mayor & Council Communication is to establish a purchase agreement with Lowe's Home Centers, LLC (Lowe's) using
Omnia Partners Contract No. R240805 to purchase maintenance, repair, and operating supplies. Lowe's provides various supplies such as hand
tools, hardware, batteries, ladders and other catalog supplies used to repair and maintain City -owned equipment and facilities.
Staff reviewed the pricing under Omnia Partners Contract No. R240805 and determined the pricing to be fair and reasonable. Omnia Partners
contracts are competitively bid to increase and simplify the purchasing power of government entities across the State of Texas. Request for
Proposal (RFP) No. 24-08 was published in the Houston Chronicle on May 22, 2024 and May 29, 2024, and responses were opened on June 27,
2024. Omnia Partners Contract No. R240805 offers fixed discounts.
FUNDING: Funding is budgeted in the various accounts within the participating departments operating budgets, as appropriated.

AGREEMENT TERMS: The initial term of the agreement will begin upon the date of execution and expire on October 31, 2026 to correspond with
the terms of the cooperative contract. The agreement may be renewed for up to three (3) additional one-year terms for the same amount at the
City's option. This action does not require specific City Council approval provided that the City Council has appropriated sufficient funds to satisfy
the City's obligations during the renewal terms.
ADMINISTRATIVE CHANGE ORDER: An administrative change order or increase may be made by the City Manager up to the amount allowed by
relevant law and the Fort Worth City Code and does not require specific City Council approval as long as sufficient funds have been appropriated.
