FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES TO
PARKING ACCESS AND REVENUE CONTROL SYSTEM
AT WILL ROGERS MEMORIAL CENTER

WHEREAS, the City of Fort Worth (City)and Dunaway Associates, L. P., a Texas Limited
Partnership (Engineer) made and entered into City Secretary Contract No. 41326 (the Contract) on the 6th
day of January, 2011; and Amendment Nos. 1 and 2 were administratively executed in the amount of
$17,040.00 for additional coordination meetings and construction document modifications; and
WHEREAS, the Contract involves engineering services for the Parking Access and Revenue Control
System (PARCS) at the Will Rogers Memorial Center(WRMC); and
WHEREAS, it has become necessary to execute Amendment No. 3 to said Contract to incorporate
two items in Amendment Nos. 1 and 2 for additional design services for incorporating the pay booth
foundation ($2,750.00)and the pay booth locations ($6,500.00)totaling $9,250.00 into the Gendy Street
Beautification project; and
NOW THEREFORE, City and Engineer, acting herein by and through their duly authorized
representatives, enter into the following agreement, which amends the Contract:
1.
Article I, SCOPE OF SERVICES, of the Agreement is amended and decreased by$9,250.00 as
specified in the Email from the Engineer dated April 4, 2012, subject: PARCS Contracts and letter from the
Engineer dated May 23, 2011, subject: Will Rogers Memorial Center— Paid Parking Equipment, attached
hereto as Attachments "A" and "B"and made a part of this Agreement.
2.
Article II, COMPENSATION, of the Agreement is amended for the total Agreement price of
$47,965.00 for fees.
3.
All other provisions of the Contract, which are not expressly amended herein, shall remain in full force
and effect.

Per the attached document, the following fee breakdown should be used for the proposed additional
services.
• Additional coordination meetings ($2,500)
• Contractor selection process including multiple reference checks and best value process
($2,500)
• Develop a separate set of construction drawings for the pay booth locations that are within
Gendy Street and placing them in the Gendy Street Beautification project. The deliverables
will include the constructions drawings, specifications prepared for binding separately and an
estimate of probable cost. The drawings will be signed and sealed by a registered licensed
professional engineer. ($6,500)

Dunaway Associates, LIP. and the City of Fort Worth Public Events Department have a
contract in place to complete the P,A.R.C.S. projects to serve WRMC. Services were
authorized in a contract signed and dated November 19, 2010.

Dear Mr. Horner:
Dunaway Associates, L.P. and the City of Fort Worth Public Events Department have a
contract in place to complete the P.A.R.C.S. projects to serve WRMC. Services were
authorized in a contract signed and dated November 19, 2010. The following additional tasks
shall be provided by a sub-consultant:
• Five additional coordination meetings and subsequent drawing modifications will be
completed by Baird Hampton Brown for the electric design construction documents.
• The electric design drawings by Baird Hampton Brown will be modified by removing
the pay booth information from the WRMC project and placing them in the Gendy
Street Beautification project. The deliverables will include the original drawings,
specifications prepared for binding separately and an estimate of probable cost. The
drawings will be signed and sealed by a registered/licensed professional engineer.
The additional effort will be a lump sum fee of $2,790 and $2,750 respectively for the two
tasks. The original contract amount of $40,175 will have a revised amount of $45,715.
