HomeMy WebLinkAbout2004/03/11-REVISED-Agenda-City Council-Executive Session Executive Session Print Page 1 of 1 REVISED NOTICE OF SPECIAL SESSION (Pre-Council Chamber) Thursday, March 11, 2004 Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Fort Worth will hold a special meeting in the Pre-Council Chamber of the Fort Worth City Hall, 1000 Throckmorton Street, Fort Worth, Texas, on Thursday, March 11, 2004, to consider the items on the agenda listed below. The special meeting will be held immediately after the Pre-Council meeting that begins at 3:00 P.M. in the Pre- Council Chamber, and before the regular City Council meeting that begins at 7:00 P.M. in the Council Chamber at City Hall. I. CALL TO ORDER II. EXECUTIVE SESSION The City Council will conduct a closed meeting in order to: 1. Seek the advice of its attorneys concerning the following pending or contemplated litigation or other matters that are exempt from public disclosure under Article X, Section 9 of the Texas State Bar Rules and as authorized by Section 551.071 of the Texas Government Code: a) Herman Young v. City of Fort Worth, Cause No. 342-192885-02; b) Dan Clark Family Limited Partnership, and CTC Transportation, Inc., a Texas Corporation, v. City of Fort Worth and the Zoning Board of Adjustment, Cause No. 141-202926-03: c) Legal issues concerning ZC-03-284 and SP-03-047, Waste Management of Texas, Inc., 3700 block of Linkcrest Drive; d) Legal issues concerning the solid waste collection contracts; e) Legal issues concerning the Lost Creek Ranch subdivision; f) Legal issues concerning nonconforming land uses; g) Legal issues concerning any item listed on today's City Council meeting agendas; and 2. Deliberate the purchase, exchange, lease, or value of real property in accordance with Section 551.072 of the Texas Government Code. Deliberation in an open meeting would have a detrimental effect on the position of the City in negotiations with a third party; and 3. Deliberate concerning economic development negotiations as authorized by Section 551.087 of the Texas Government Code; and 4. Deliberate the deployment or specific occasions for implementation of security personnel or devices in accordance with Section 551.076 of the Texas Government Code. III.
