HomeMy WebLinkAbout2005/12/13-REVISED-Agenda-City Council-Executive Session Executive Session Print Page 1 of 1 REVISED NOTICE OF SPECIAL SESSION (Pre-Council Chamber) Tuesday, December 13, 2005 Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Fort Worth will hold a special meeting in the Pre-Council Chamber of the Fort Worth City Hall, 1000 Throckmorton Street, Fort Worth, Texas, on Tuesday, December 13, 2005 to consider the items on the agenda listed below. The special meeting will be held immediately after the Pre-Council meeting that begins at 3:00 P.M. in the Pre- Council Chamber at City Hall and before the regular City Council meeting that begins at 7:00 P.M. in the Council Chamber at City Hall. I. CALL TO ORDER II. EXECUTIVE SESSION The City Council will conduct a closed meeting in order to: 1. Seek the advice of its attorneys concerning the following pending or contemplated litigation or other matters that are exempt from public disclosure under Article X, Section 9 of the Texas State Bar Rules and as authorized by Section 551.071 of the Texas Government Code: a. Legal issues concerning Senate Bill 1253 relating to support of special events; b. Legal issues concerning red light traffic enforcement: c. Legal issues concerning the Fort Worth Employee's Retirement Fund; d. Legal issues concerning Walton Avenue flooding claims; e. City of Fort Worth v. Texas Bay Cherry Hill, L. P., Cause No. 04-26380-2; f. City of Fort Worth vs. Apartments at Oak Hollow, L.P., Cause No. 04-26088-1; g. City of Fort Worth vs. Apartments of Villa Del Rio, L.P., Cause No. 04-25881-1; h. Apartments of Villa Del Rio, L.P., and Apartments of Oak Hollow FW, L.P., v. City of Fort Worth, Texas, Woodhaven Community Development, Inc., and Becky L. Haskin; Cause No. Cause No. 236-214186-05; i. Texas Bay Cherry Hill, L.P., v. City of Fort Worth, Texas, Woodhaven Community Development, Inc., and Becky L. Haskin, Cause No. 153-214307-05; j. Legal issues concerning the disclosure requirements of Chapter 176 of the Local Government Code k. Legal issues concerning the petition for election submitted under Sec. 143.3015 of the Local Government Code I. Legal issues concerning any item listed on today's City Council meeting agendas; and 2. Deliberate the purchase, exchange, lease, or value of real property in accordance with Section 551.072 of the Texas Government Code. Deliberation in an open meeting would have a detrimental effect on the position of the City in negotiations with a third party; and 3. Deliberate economic development negotiations as authorized by Section 551.087 of the Texas Government Code; and 4. Deliberate the deployment, or specific occasions for implementation, of security personnel or devices, in accordance with Section 551.076 of the Texas Government Code. III.
