Home My WebLink AboutContract 41703-A1 AMENDMENT NUMBER 1 STATE OF TEXAS S CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT NO.14 VUG-At COUNTY OF TARRANT 6 WHEREAS, the City of Fort Worth (City) and Garver, LLC, (Engineer) made and entered into City Secretary Contract No. 41703, (the Contract) which was authorized by the City Council by M&C G-17254 on the 5th day of April 2011; and WHEREAS, the Contract involves engineering services for the following project: 51S Apron and Taxilane Improvements, Project No. 1663 WHEREAS, it has become necessary to execute Amendment No. 1 to said Contract to include an increased scope of work and revised maximum fee for design of Taxilane improvements extending from the proposed Hangar 51 S apron to Taxiway B in the project; NOW THEREFORE, CITY and ENGINEER, acting herein by and through their duly authorized representatives, enter into the following agreement, which amends the Contract: 1. Article I of the Contract is amended to include the additional engineering services specified in the proposal letter dated April 22, 2011, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein. The cost to City for the additional services to be performed by ENGINEER shall not exceed $11,516.00. 2. Article II of the Contract is amended to provide for an increase in the fee to be paid to ENGINEER for all work and services performed under the Contract, as amended, so that the total fee paid by the City for all work and services shall not exceed the sum of$93,633.00. This letter will describe our proposed scope of services,performance schedule,and payment terms. Scope of Services We understand that you want us to provide services for taxilane improvements extending from the proposed Hangar 51 S apron to Taxiway B in the project. More specifically, we are expanding the scope of Preliminary Design, Final Design, Construction Phase Services, and Survey to include the taxilane improvements. The conceptual layout for the taxilane is shown in the attached exhibit. Payment Terms For the work described under Scope of Services we propose the following changes to the fee amounts.
