FT. WORTH, TEX.
AN ORDINANCE EXTENDING THE BOUNDARY LIMITS
AND ANNEXING CERTAIN TERRITORY LYING ADJACENT
TO THE CITY OF FORT FORTH: PROVIDING THAT THE
ORDINANCE BE ADVERTISED IN A DAILY NEWSPAPER
PUBLISHED IN SAID CITY IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE
PROVISIONS OF SECTION 40, CHAPTER XXVIII OF
THE CITY CHARTER; AND SPECIFYING AN E FFE CTIVE
DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS
Section 1.
That the hereinafter described territory lying adjacent to the City of Fort
'Forth is hereby annexed and brought within the corporate limits and made an
integral part of said City of Fort 'Worth, said territory being situated in
Tarrant County, Texas, and being described by meters and bounds as followsx
BEING a tract of land about 10 miles southeasterly
from the Courthouse of Tarrant County, Texas# and lying
in Blocks 5, 62 91 10, 20, 232 240 25, 26, 31s 321 33,
A. A. 38, 39, 40, 44, 45, 46, 47, 52, 53, 54, and 55
of the Shelby County School Land, and the E. L. Snider:
J. B. Renfro, R. C. Richey, and J. Snider Surveys, and
berg more fully described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point in the ;resent City of Fort
Worth City Limit Lune, the Northwest corner of Block 5
of the Shelby County School Land Survey;
THENCE East along the north lane of Block 5 of the
Shelby County School Land Survey, and the present City
of Fort Worth City Limit Lane, to a point which stands
1351-5/10 feet west and 20 feet north from the Northwest
corner of Block 1 of Everman Park Addition;
THENCE South 100-32/100 feet;
ONCE East 180 feet;
THENCE South 81 Degrees - 13 Minutes East 154-15/100
feet;
THENCE South 66 Degrees - 13 Minutes East 109-44/100
feet;
THENCE South 60 Degrees East 50 feet;
THENCE South 63 Degrees - 15 Minutes East 160-32/100
feet;
THENCE South 69 Degrees - 53 Minutes East 166-36/100
feet;
THENCE South 76 Degrees - 44 Minutes East 171-39/100
feet;
THENCE North 12 Degrees - 30 Minutes East 265-71/100
feet;
THENCE East 961 feet to a point in the westerly R.O.W.
line of the Texas Electric Service Company;
THENCE Southwesterly along the westerly R.O*W. line
of the Texas Electric Service Company to its intersection
with the South line of Block 10 of the Shelby County School
Land Survey;

the South line of Block 19 of the Shelby County School
Land Survey to the Southeast corner of Block 19, the
Southwest corner of Block 24 of the Shelby County School
Laud Survey;
SCE North along the west line of said Block 24
to the City Limit Line of the City of Everma.n;
THENCE East, North, East, North, West, South, West
Northwest, West, South, West, and North along the City
Limit Line of the City of Everman to the North line of
Block 26 of the Shelby County School Land Survey;
THENCE East, to and along the City Limit Line of
the City of Forest Hill, and continuing along said City
Limit Line East, North, East, South, East and North to
the North line of Block 141t of the Shelby County School
Land Survey;
THENCE East along the north lines of Blocks 44 and
55 of the Shelby County School Land Survey to the City
Limit Line of the City of Kennedale;
':THENCE Southeasterly, South, and East along the City
Limit Line of the City of Kennedale to a point in the
North line of the J. B. Renfro Survey, and continuing
East along the North line of the J. B. Renfro Survey to
its Northeast corner, in the West line of the R. C. Richey
Survey;
THENCE North along the West line of the R. Co Richey
Survey to the City Limit Line of the City of Kennedale;
SCE East along the City Limit Line of the City of
Kennedale to the West R.O.W. line of County Road No. 2025;
THENCE Southerly along the Westerly R.O.W. line of
County Road No, 2025 to its intersection with the Norther-
ly line of County Road No. 2036 produced West;
THENCE West along the North line of County Road No.
2036 produced West to its intersection with the East line
of the E. L. Snider Survey;
THENCE South along the East line of the E. L. Snider
Survey to its Southeast corner;
SCE West along the South line of the E. L. Snider
Survey, and continuing West along said line produced to
its intersection with the 'West R.O.W. line of County Road
No. 20,37;
THENCE North along the West R.O.W. line of County
Road No. 2037 to its intersection with the South line of
Block 52 of the Shelby County School Land Survey;
THENCE West along the South lines of Blocks 52 and
47 of the Shelby County School Land Survey and along said
line produced to the intersection of said line with the
Vest R.O.W. line of County Road No. 2097;
THENCE South along the West R.O.W. line of County
Road No. 2097 to its intersection with the South line of
Block 37 of the Shelby County School Land Survey;
THENCE West along the South lines of Blocks 37, 34,
23, 20, 9, and 6 of the Shelby County School Land Survey,
and continuing West along said line produced to its inter--
section with the West R.O.W. line of County Road No. 1023;
THENCE North along the West R.O.W. line of County
Road No. 1023 to its intersection with the present City
of Fort "forth City Limit Line;
THENCE East and North along the present City of Fort
Worth City Limit Line to the place of beginning and contain-
ing approximately 7 square miles.

That this ordinance shall be published one time in The Fort IMM
, a daily newspaper published in the City of Fort Worth, in accordance
with the provisions of Section 40, Chapter XXVIII of the City Charter,
SECTION 3.
That this ordinance shall be and become effective and be in full force
and effect upon its final passage, which in no event shall be less than thirty
(30) days from the date of its publication, as aforesaid, and it is so ordained.
