That the following described territory within the corporate limits of the City
of tort ?Forth is rereby discontinued as a part of the City of Fort North and said
tract of land is described by metes and bounds as follows:
BEING a tract of land about 11 miles west from the Courthouse of
Tarrant County, Texas, and lying in and including all or part of the
J. Bursey, J. F. Elliott, G H & H R.R. Co., N. Casteel, G. M. Petitt,
S. Petitt, J. H. Bursey, C. E. Burkham, W. Houston, J.Burleson, C. E.
P. I. & M. Co., W. Robinson, Henry Lane, George W. Wilks, S A & M G
R.R. Co., Socora Farming Co., Hugh 1A=o and G H & H R.R. Co. Surveys
and being more fully described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point in the east right-of-way line of Dr. Harris
Road (County Road No. 1012), 300 feet south from. the south right-of-way
line of U. S. Highway No. 80;
THENCE south, along the east right-of-way line of Dr. Harris Road
(County Road No. 1012), to its intersection with the north right-of-way
line of County Road No. 1010;
THENCE east, along the north right-of-way line of County Road No.
1040, to its intersection with the west line of the T. G. Zachery Survey
produced north;
THENCE south, along the west line of the T. G. Zachery Survey pro-
duced north, and the west line of the T. G. Zachery Survey to the south-
west corner of the T. G. Zachery Survey;
THENCE east, along the south line of the T. G. Zachery Survey to its
intersection with the most easterly west line of the McKinney and Williams
Survey, produced north;
THENCE south, along the most easterly west line of the McKinney and
Williams Survey produced north, and the most easterly west line of the
McKinney and 'Villiams Survey, to an interior corner of the McKinney and
Williams Survey;
THENCE west, along the south line of the J. F. Elliott Survey, to
its intersection with the east line of the G H & H R.R. Co. Survey;
THENCE south, along the east line of the G H & H R.R. Co. Survey to
its easterly southeast corner;
THENCE west, along the northerly south line of the G H & H R.R. Co.
Survey to an interior corner of said surveY, the northwest corner of the
D. H. Dickson Survey;
`.FFENCE south, along the most westerly east line of the G H & H R.R.
Co. Survey to its intersection with the south right-of-way line of County
Road No. 1021.;
THENCE west, along,, the south right-of-way line of County Road No.
1024, with its meanders, to its intersection with the west line e Tarrant
County;
TH&4CE north, along the west line of Tarrant County to its intersection
with the south right-of-way line of U. S. Highway No. 80;
THENCE east, along the south right-of-way line of U. S. Highway No.
80, to its intersection with the Addle of Marys Greek North;
THENCE down the middle of Marys Creek North, with its meanders, in a
southerly direction to a point 300 feet south from the south right-of-way
line of U. S. Highway No. 80;
THENCE northeasterlyy, along a line parallel to and 300 feet southeast
from the southeast right-of-way line of U. S. Highway No. 80 to a point 300
feet west from the west right-of-way line of 'gestland Avenue;
THENCE south, along, a line parallel to and. 300 feet west from the west
right-of-way line of 'Kestland Avenue to its intersection with the north
right-of-way line of County Road No. 100 produced west;
THENCE east, along the north r-.Lght-of-way line of County Road No. 1040
produced west and along the north right-of-way line of County Road No. 1040
to a point 300 feet east from the east right-of-way line of County Road No.
10h 1;
THENCE north, along a line parallel to and 300 feet east from the east
right-of-way line of County Road No. 1041, to a point 300 feet south from
the south right-of-way line of U. S. Highway No. 80;
THENCE east, along a line parallel to and 300 feet south from the south
right-of-way line of U. S. Highway No. 80, to the place of beginning and
containing approximately 10-333 square miles.
Section 2.
That this Ordinance shall and does hereby amend every prior ordinance in conflict
herewith, and more particularly this ordinance expressly amends Ordinances Nos. 3824
and 3549, hereto-fore adopted and passed on May 16, 1958, and October 31, 1956, respec-
tively, but as to all other ordinances or sections of ordinances not in direct conflict
herewith, this ordinance shall be and is hereby made cumulative.
Section 3.
If any section, subsection or provision of this ordinance shall be held invalid
or unconstitutional by a court of competent jurisdiction, the portion so held. tone
invalid or unconstitutional shall not affect any other part of the ordinance, which
shall remain in full force and effect.
Section 4.
This Ordinance, after it has been duly passed, shall be entered as an order on
the minutes and permanent records of the City of Fort T4orth, from and after the date
of its entry, the territory hereinbefore described shall cease to be a part of the
City of Fort 'Worth.
Section 5.
That this Ordinance shall become effective and shall be in full f orce and effect
from and after its passage, and it is so ordained.
