AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING THAT THE ALLEY SIXTEEN FEET
WIDE IN BLOCK 26, CHAMBEMAIN ARLINGTON HEIGHTS,
FIRST FILING, AN ADDITION TO TH8, CITY OF FORT WORTH,
TARRANT COUNTY, TEXAS, BE ABANDONED, VACATED AND
CLOSED, AND PROVIDING FOR THE REVERSION OF THE FEE
TO SAID LAND,
74HEREASS, it appearing to the City Council of the City of Fort Worth
that the alley sixteen feet wide in Block 26, Chamberlain Arlington Heights,
First Filing, although duly dedicated, has in fact never been used by the
public and that it is to the beat interest of the public that said alley
be closed, abandoned and vacated as a public thoroughfare and the fee to
the land in said alley revert as provided by law, NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT MORTH,TEXAS:
SECTION 1,
That the alley sixteen feet wide in Block 26, Chamberlain Arlington
Heights, First Filing, an addition to the City of Fort Worth, Tarrant County,
Texas, be and the same is hereby vacated, closed and permanently abandoned
as an alley or public thoroughfare of any kind or character whatever.
SECTION 2.
That the fee to the land, in said alley above described is hereby re-
leased and will revert to the owners as provided by law, save and except that
an easement is reserved for public utilities.
SECTION, 3,
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are
hereby repealed.
SECTION 4
That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and of
feet from and after the date of its passage.
