HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance 4647 ORDINANCE NO. 4'1, .0 CrFICII'l RECORD CITY SUINE[PAY AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING THAT ALL PORTIONS OF VICTORIAN DRIVE AND CHATEAU DRIVE FROM THE EAST RIGHT OF WAY FL WORTH, I LINE OF THE COURTS ON SAID STREETS EAST OF SHERIDAN ROAD TO THE WEST RIGHT OF WAY LINE OF U. S. HIGHWAY NO. 81, BEING THAT PORTION OF SAID STREETS WHICH ARE IN CONFLICT WITH THE DEDICATION OF HALLMARK ADDITION, SECTION NO. 6, APPROVED BY THE CITY PLANNING COMMIS- SION ON FEBRUARY 20, 1962, AND BEING FILED IN VOLUME 388-26, PAGE 73, OF THE DEED RECORDS OF TARRANT COUNTY, TEXAS, BE VACATED, ABANDONED AND CLOSED; PROVIDING FOR THE REVERSION OF THE FEE IN SAID LAND, REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING THAT THIS ORDINANCE SHALL BECOME EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That the following portions of Victorian Drive and Chateau Drive be and the same are hereby closed, abandoned and permanent- ly vacated as streets or public thoroughfares of any kind or character whatever: All portions of Victorian Drive and Chateau Drive from the east right of way line of the courts on said streets east of Sheridan Road to the west right of way line of U. S. Highway No. 81, being that portion of said streets which are in conflict with the dedication of Hallmark Addition, Section No. 6, approved by the City Planning Commission on February 20, 1962, and being filed in Volume 388-26, page 73, of the Deed Records of Tarrant County, Texas. SECTION 2. That the fee to the land in said streets is hereby released and will revert to the adjacent owner as provided by law, save and except that the following easements are reserved: An easement for any and all existing utilities; A ten foot easement for drainage facilities ex- tending the full length of, and being centered along, the common line between Lot 5, Block 30, and Lot 13, Block 28, Hallmark Addition; and A twenty foot easement for water and drainage facilities, which will include the north 7-1/2 feet of Lot 5, Block 32, and the south 12-1/2 feet of Lot 14, Block 30, Hallmark Addition, it being spe- cifically provided that no improvements of any kind, including fences, walks, trees, shrubs, etc., shall be placed on said easement except by the City of Fort Worth. SECTION 3 . That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict here- with are hereby repealed. SECTION 4. That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and effect from and after the date of its passage. APPROVED AS TO FORM AND LEGALITY: City Attorney
