HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance 6147 + ORDINANCE N0, AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE MO' 3011 , BEING AN ORDINANCE TO REGULATE AND T0 RESTRICT THE LOCATION AND USE OF BUILDINGS, STRUCTURES, AND LAND FOR TRADE, INDUSTRY, RESIDENCES, OR OTHER PURPOSES; THE HEIGHT, NUMBER OF 3T0KI[5 AND SIZE OF BUILDING; AND OTHER STRUCTURES: THE SIZE OF YARDS AND OTHER OPEN SPACES; OFF-STREET PARKING AND LOADING AND THE DENSITY OF POPULATION; AND FOR SAID PURPOSES T0 DIVIDE THE MUNICIPALITY INTO DISTRICTS OF SUCH NUMBER, SHAPE AND AREA AS MAY BE DEEMED O[3T BY FIXING DEFINITE USES OF THE BUILDINGS HEREINAFTER ERECTED IN SAID DESCRIBED AREAS FROM THE USES AS 3U0WM ON THE MAPS CONTAINED IN SAID ORDINANCE M8' 3011; PRE- SCRIBING 8 SAVINGS CLAUSE; PROVIDING A FINE OF NOT LESS THAN $5.00 NOR MORE THAN $200.00 FOR EACH OFFENSE, AND THAT EACH DAY THAT A VIOLATION IS PERMITTED T0 EXIST SHALL CONSTITUTE 8 SEPARATE OFFENSE; AND NAMING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. DE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY' COUNCIL, OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That Ordinance No. 3011 be amended so that the following described uses in the hereinafter described area be altered, changed and amended as follows to wit: Z-69-129 Part of Tract 9D, Jas. M. Daniel Survey (City Tau Records) further described as: BEGINNING at o point at the northeast corner of R.O.W. of Martin 8t. and the 820 Loop; THENCE north lD" 30" east for 81.47 feet; THENCE 0" 40^ radius -2739.79, arc ~319,4 feet; THENCE south 89" OG' east for 250,00 feet; THENCE south UO" 341 west for 406^00 feet; THENCE north 89" 09" west for 260 feat to Point of Beginning, all being with the J. M. Daniel Survey and being portion out of Tract 9D^ to the City of Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas. (N[ corner Martin St. & Loop 820) From "U" Two-Family to "F-R" Restricted Commercial � ~ - 2 - SECTION 2. The zoning regulations and districts, as herein established, have been made in accordance with the comprehensive plan for the purpose of promoting health, safety, morals and the general Welfare of the community. They have been designed to lessen congestion in the streets; to secure safety from fire, panic, flood and other dangers; to provide adequate light and air.; to prevent overcrowding of land; to avoid undue concentration of population; to facilitate the adequate provisions of transportation, water, sewerage, parks and other public require- ments. They have been made after a full and complete public hearing with reasonable considera- tion among other things, of the character of the district and its peculiar suitability for the particular uses and with a view of conserving the value of buildings and encouraging the most appropriate use of land throughout the community. SECTION S. This ordinance shall be cumulative of all other ordinances of the City of Fort Worth affecting zoning and shall not repeal any of the provisions of said ordinances except in those instances where provisions of those ordinances are in direct conflict with the provisions of this ordinance. SECTION 4. Should any section, clause or provision of this ordinance be declared by the court to be in- valid, the same shall not affect the validity of the ordinance as u whole or any part thereof' other than the part so declared to he invalid. SECTION 5. Any person, firm or corporation who violates, disobeys, omits, neglects or refuses to comply with or who resists the enforcement of any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be fined not less than Five and No/100 Dollars ($5.80) nor more than Two Hundred and No/100 Dollars ($200.00) for each offense. Each day that u violation is permitted to exist shall constitute o separate offense. SECTION 8.
