AN ORDINANCE CLOSING AND VACATING THE SIX-FOOT UTILITY EASEMENT ALONG THE NORTH LINE OF LOT 1, THE EAST LINES OF LOTS 1 THROUGH 5, AND THE SOUTH LINE OF LOT 5, JESS MCKNIGHT SUBDIVISION TO THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TARRANT COUNTY, TEXAS; AND PROVIDING FOR THE REVERSION OF THE INTEREST OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH IN SAID LAND. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That the six-foot utility easement along the north line of Lot 1, the east lines of Lots I through 5, and the south line of Lot 5, Jess McKnight Subdivision to the City of Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas, as recorded in Vol. 388F, page 231, Plat Records of Tarrant County, Texas, be and the same is hereby extinguished, vacated, closed and permanently abandoned as an easement for public utilities. SECTION 2. That the interest of the City of Fort Worth in the fee to the land in said easement above described is hereby released and shall revert to the adjacent owner of the fee as provided by law. SECTION 3. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.. SECTION 4. That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and effect from and after the date of its passage.
