AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE SPECIFICATIONS FILED BY THE
PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR FOR THE 121PROVE'MENT OF A PORTION
OF THE BERRY STRF'a'T EXTERSION IN THE CITY OF FORT �,r•JORTH,
TEXAS.
WHEREAS, the Public Works Director on the 5th day of August,
1960, filed with the City Council complete Specifications for the improvement
of a portion of the Berm Street Extension, as follows:
BERRY STREET EXTENSION: from the easterly line of
Mitchell Boulevard to the westerly line of Vaughn
Boulevard, known and designated as Unit No. 1.
THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT r40RTH, TEXAS:
SECTION 1.
That the same be and are hereby approved as the Specifications
under which said work shall be done.
SECTION 2.
That the City Secretary is hereby directed to advertise for Bids
for the construction of the said improvements in accordance with the said
Specifications which advertisement shall be inserted one or more time in the
Fort Worth Press, a newspaper of general circulation in the City of Fart Worth,
and shall call for sealed Bids for the said work, to be filed with the City
Council on or before the 29th day of August, 1960, at 2:00 p.m, upon which
date such bids shall be opened and read as prescribed by the City Charter.
That the first publication of said advertisement shall be not less than ten
(10) days before the date herein set for opening of Bids.
SECTION 3.
That this Ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage.
