Supplemental; Information The cbanne,li a.tion of the intersection of Riverside Drive at East Vickery Boulevard requires the acquisition of the following right-of-way; a triangular, strip of land, containing 488 square feet, from the south side of lot 12, Block 15, Glenwood Addition, (indicated in blue on attached map) and the closing of Cromwell Street between Riverside 'Drive and East Vickery Boulevard. The owner of the abutting property (loot 14, Block 15, Glenwood Addition); the public utility companies; and the City Public Works, Traffic Engineer- ing, and Planning Departments have no objections to closing Cromwell Street, provided a 30 foot utility easement is retained for the existing underground winter, sewer and gas facilities. 0n March 10, 1965, the City Plan Commission reviewed the request for street closing and recd ends adoption of an ordinance abandoning the street, and reserving a 30 Root easement. As a result of the closing, 1743.7.5 sq. ft. of land would revert to the. owner of loot 12, 'Block 15, Glenwood Addition, and 12.89.81 sq. ft. of land would revert to the City of Fort forth as owner of a triangular parcel of land to the east of Cromwell Street, containing 780 sq. ft. (orange on the attached map). Such street closing would provide 2069.81 sq. ft. of City-owned land at the intersection, the sale of which is proposed to the owner of Lot 12, Block 15, Glenwood Addition. The purchase of the required 483 sq. ft. of right-or-way and the sale of City awned land have been 'negotiated in one transaction. The negotia- tions are as follows: Sale of 2,069.81 sq. ft. of surplus land at 36n~ per sq. ft. $745.13 Less purchase of 488 sq. ft. of land at 72 . per sq. ft. $351.36 $393.77
