AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING THAT E. RAMSEY STREET FROM
THE WEST LINE OF LOT 5 TO THE WEST LINE OF LOT 12,
BLOCK 15, AND E. MARION STREET FROM THE WEST LINE
OF LOT 5 TO THE EAST LINE OF LOT 11, BLOCK 16, ALL
IN BELMONT ADDITION TO THE CITY OF FORT WORTH,
TARRANT COUNTY, TEXAS, BE VACATED, ABANDONED AND
CLOSED; PROVIDING FOR THE REVERSION OF THE INTEREST
OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH IN SAID LAND,- REPEALING
ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING
AN EFFECTIVE DATE .
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FORT WORTH, TEXAS:
SECTION 1.
That the following public rights of way in Belmont
Addition to the City of Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas,
be and the same are hereby closed, abandoned and permanently
vacated as streets or public thoroughfares of any kind or
character whatever:
E. Ramsey Street from the west line of Lot 5
to the west line of Lot 12, Block 15; and
E. Marion Street from the west line of Lot 5,
to the east line of Lot 11, Block 16.
SECTION 2.
That the interest of the City of Fort Worth in the fee
to the land in said streets is hereby released and shall
revert to the adjacent owner of the fee as provided by law.
SECTION 3.
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4.
That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full
force and effect from and after the date of its passage.

WALLS Roger Uverside Co. has requested that t1ie City vacate the following public
REED su(Am 14 rights-of-way, as shown on the attached map:
se "Street in the 1600 block from the west line of Lot 5
I. E. Rare
to the west line of Lot 12, Block 15, Belmont Addition a width
of 50 feet and a length of approximately 270 feetoo
2. E. Marion, Street in the 1600 block from the west line of Lot 5
to the east line of Lot .1.1, Block 16, Belmont Addition a width
of 50 feet and a length of approximately 385 feet.
Subject rigftts-of-way were acquired by dedication and are, not i0qxroved. This
request is made in order to provide parking and to expand the building area.
City Departments and private utility companies have reviewed this request
and have no objections to approval. A satisfactory 'replat has been submitted
vihich, meets easement requirements for both existing and proposed facilities.
The City Plan Commission has revieved this request and recommends that an
ordinance he adopted vacating the public rights-of-way as requested.
Recom,endation
It is recommended that an, ordinance be adopted vacating subject rights-of-way
as recommended 'by the City Plan, Commission.
