the City's various community centers, including Como, Diamond Hill, Eugene Mccray, Handley-

federal sequestration. In an effort to ensure that service delivery remains stable, SCS has requested
financial support from the City of Fort Worth to underwrite the laries of on-site senior program
directors at the eight facilities at $10,000.00 per center. Programs generally operate five hours daily
from :00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Responsibilities of the position include overseeing the daily senior
program planning, completing meal registrations, ordinating transportation, overseeing volunteers
and completing incident/injury reports.
S's programs fulfill an essential need within the City and provide the public with a clear benefit by
ensuring the health and welfare of its senior citizens through nutritional meals, transportation
services, physical activities, and various other wellness programs. Staff will ensure that proper
controls are in place so that SCS carries out the beneficial public purposes stated above, including
reporting requirements, a reimbursement-based funding model, enrollment and participant
