Worth unless such passengex or. person shall comply with the provisions of this a•rdinanee, and such conductors shall have the right also t•o remove: from any street car any passenger who ~ doss not comply with the provisions o:f this ordinance. Section 5. If any passenger upon any street car in the city of Fort Vtorth eftar having baEn: f'orbiddan t_o do so by the conductor in charge of eaid car, shall attempt to ride an the said 'strae; car in any place other than the place prointed out to such passenger and other than a proper plaa,ce .for him to ride uzi~.er ~G1,.8 provisions: of this ordinance, he: sha1:1 be guilty. of a misdemeanor and shall be fined upon conviction not less than five dollars nor more than twenty-five dollars. Sec+'tion 6. The provisions of this ordinance shall not be construed so as to prohibit, nurses from riding in the same end of the c:a.r with their employers, even though of different raca,• and shall not prohibit officers from riding with prisoners in their charge in the same end of the car, oven though they be of different race. Section 7. The p revisions of this ordinance shall not apply to any excursion car or~special car rizn strictly as such for the oxe~lusive benefit of either rasa, but in all such cases said ea.rs• shall be .plainly marked "Excursion car" or 11 Special Car".
