HomeMy WebLinkAboutContract 44986-A1 CITY SECEr, ;p$ /f CONTRACT NO, STATE OF TEXAS § 44 § KNOWN ALL BY THESE PRESENTS: COUNTY OF TA NT § FIRST AMENDMENT TO CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT NO. 44986 THIS FIRST AMENDMENT to City Secretary Contract No. 44986 is entered into by and between the City of Fort Worth, a home-rule municipal corporation situated in Tarrant County, Texas ("Fort Worth"), acting through Fernando Costa, its duly authorized Assistant City Manager, and The City of Dalworthington Cardens, located in Tarrant County, Texas ("Participant"), acting through Michael Tedder, its duly authorized Mayor. WHEREAS, Fort Worth and The City of the Participant have entered into that certain agreement identified as City Secretary Contract No. 44986 (also the "Agreement") for fiscal year 2014 (October 1, 2013 through September 30, 2014) whereby Fort Worth will purchase the services of a waste disposal/recycling firm or firms and will administer a household hazardous waste collection program as authorized by Mayor and Council Communication C-26421; and WHEREAS, that Agreement was for an initial term of one year and that Agreement provides for the extension of the term for up to three additional periods of one year each; and WHEREAS, the parties wish to extend the term of the initial Agreement for an additional year commencing on October 1, 2014 through September 30, 2015; and WHEREAS, the parties agree that all other conditions, terms, and pricing shall remain the same as stated in City Secretary Contract No. 44986; NOW, THEREFORE, for and in consideration of the mutual covenants contained herein, and other good and valuable consideration, the receipt and sufficiency of which are hereby acknowledged and confessed, the parties hereto agree as follows: 1. Extended term of agreement: City Secretary Contract number 44986 is extended to include the term beginning on October 1, 2014 and ending on September 30, 2015. 2.
