TEMPORARY EXTENSION OF CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT NUMBER 38851,
A CONCESSION AGREEMENT WITH THE FT.WORTH PARK AND R'ECR.EATION SPORTS
ADVISORY COUNCIL,INCORPORATED
This TEMPORARY EXTENSION OF CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT NUMBER 38851
("Temporary Extension") is made and entered into by and between the City of Fort Worth ("City"), a home-rule
municipal corporation of the State of Texas, acting by and through its duly authorized Assistant City Manager,
and the Ft. Worth Park and Recreation Sports Advisory Council, Incorporated, a 'Texas non-profit corporation,
acting herein by and through its duly authorized President("Concessionaire").
WHEREAS, on July 20, 2009, the City and Concessionaire entered into a concession agreement for
designated Parks and Community Services Department athletic facilities and programs, the same being Fort
Worth City Secretary Contract Number 38851 ("Agreement");
WHEREAS, the term of the Agreement is set to expire on May 14, 2014;
WHEREAS, the parties are currently in the process of negotiating a new agreement and desire to
temporarily extend the Agreement so that the Concessionaire may continue to operate without interruption;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City and Concessionaire agree to temporarily extend the term of the
Agreement as follows:
I.
That City and Concessionaire hereby agree to temporarily extend the term of the Agreement for a period
of thirty (30) consecutive days, effective beginning on May 15, 2014 and expiring on June 14, 2014 ("Temporary
Extension Period"). Unless terminated in accordance with the terms of the Agreement, the Temporary Extension
Period shall renew on an automatic basis for consecutive thirty (30) day periods until the City and Concessionaire
have executed a new agreement governing the same or similar subject matter as the Agreement.
H.
All terms in this Temporary Extension that are capitalized but not defined shall have the meanings
assigned to them in the Agreement.
III.
All terms and conditions of the Agreement that are not expressly amended or referenced pursuant to this
Temporary Extension shall remain in full force and effect.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have executed this Temporary Extension in multiples in
Fort Worth,Tarrant County, Texas.
