DISCUSSION: Jason Runnells, Managing Partner for PPC Firestone Limited Partnership, has requested permission to continue a building encroachment, and install two new encroachments in the right-of-way of the 1000 block of West 7th Street. The building encroachment is actually an "overhang" possibly created by the widening of the street after construction of the building. The other two encroachments are (1) a sloped sidewalk required in order to meet Americans with Disabilities Act requirements for wheelchair access, and (2) the addition of an arbor over the storefronts and entrances along West 7th Street. The Encroachment Committee has reviewed this request and is recommending approval. The encroachment will be in COUNCIL DISTRICT 9. FISCAL INFORMATION/CERTIFICATION: The Finance Director certifies that this action will have no material effect on City funds.
