TO CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT
WHEREAS, the City of Fort Worth (CITY) and Dunaway
Associates, L.P. , (ENGINEER) made and entered into City
Secretary Contract No. 44752 , (the CONTRACT) which was
authorized by M&C C-26378 on the 6th day of August, 2013 in
the amount of $196, 487 . 00; and
WHEREAS, the CONTRACT was subsequently revised by:
Amendment No. 1 in the amount of $15,834 . 00 which was
administratively authorized on January 7, 2014 and Amendment
No. 2 in the amount of $48, 680 . 00 which was administratively
authorized on March 17, 2014; and
WHEREAS, the CONTRACT involves engineering services for
the following project:
Water Main and Sanitary Sewer Relocations along F.M. 156
from State Highway 114 to Martin Ranch Road; and
WHEREAS, it has become necessary to execute Amendment
No. 3 to the CONTRACT to include an increased scope of work and
revised fee.
NOWTHEREFORE, CITY and ENGINEER, acting herein by and
through their duly authorized representatives, enter into the
following agreement, which amends the CONTRACT:

Article I of the CONTRACT is amended to include the
additional engineering services specified in a proposal dated
August 29, 2014, a copy of which is attached hereto and
incorporated herein. The cost to the City for the additional
design services to be performed by Engineer totals $47,139. 00 .
2 .
Article II of the CONTRACT is amended to provide for an
increase in the fee to be paid to Engineer for all work and
services performed under the Contract, as amended, so that the
total fee paid by the City for all work and services shall be
an amount of $308, 140 . 00 .

All other provisions of the Contract, which are not
expressly amended herein, shall remain in full force and
effect.

Dear Mr. Sauceda:
Dunaway Associates, L.P. is pleased to present this Amendment No. 3 for the following
additional services that are beyond our original scope of services.
Dunaway proposes to provide the additional design plans for 2,500 LF of 16-inch water
transmission main along the north side of Alliance Gateway Freeway (State Highway 170)
westbound lanes east of the Interstate Highway 35 West intersection between Cabela Drive
and Old Denton Road.
Also, Dunaway proposes to provide the additional design plans for 1,500 LF of 8-inch water
main connecting to the existing 8-inch water main (X-15379)along the north side of Westport
Parkway from the driveway for the Fort Worth Alliance Airport Residence Inn to a Westport
Parkway crossing at the driveway for the Fort Worth Alliance Airport Hilton Garden Inn and
then along the south side of Westport Parkway to connect with the existing 8-inch water main
(X-16300) near the BBVA Compass bank. Additionally, the proposed 8-inch water main will
be extended along the south side of Westport Parkway to provide water service to the Fort
Worth Alliance Airport Hilton Garden Inn and in lieu of its current service connection with the
existing 30-inch water transmission main(X-9416).
The field topographic survey, easement preparation, and any permits will be provided by the
City for these portions of the project.
These additional utility relocations will be included within the current Part 3 project for
advertisement.
SCOPE OF WORK
1. Design of additional 2,500 LF of 16-inch Transmission Water Main along
Alliance Gateway Freeway.
2. Design of additional 1,500 LF of 8-inch Water Main along Westport Parkway,

Dunaway proposes to provide the above described scope of work for a LUMP SUM fee of
$47,139.
Only those services specifically mentioned in the Scope of Work section are offered as a part
of this proposal.
