Consensus of Council was to change the
date of reyuiar meeting on September 2
(Labor Day) to Thursday, September j.
2 . Request for hearing on zoning (Meadowbrook and NAN
Weiler)
Mayor Friedman stated that in view of the
City Attorney's opinion concerning the change
in zoning of this area back to "A" residential ,
the Council was not in a position to take
more action on this matter .
Consensus of Council was to hear the presenta-
tion of Mr. Loa, but not to grant the request
for a hearing on the matter.
This action was taken at regular meeting,
3. Discussion of Zoning Cases NAN
Council discussed various zoning cases which
were to be presented at the Regular Zoning
Hearing scheduled for the Council meeting.
Councilman Barr suggested that a special
informal meeting be scheduled for discussion
of zoning policy after the budget had been
completed, __
4. Study Sessions on 1963-64 Budget NAN
The City Manager reported that he would formally
present the 1963-64 Budget for Council consider-
aiion at the regular meeting, and referred to
the suggested schedule for consideration of the
Budget contained in the Budget.
Consensus of Council was to wait until August
19 meeting to schedule meetings on the Budget.
The City Attorney was instructed to
prepare the appropriations ordinance as
required by Charter,

Consensus of Council was to approve the
award of the contract, and this action was
taken at regular meeting.
