Mayor and sent to all independent boards in-

Consensus of Council was to approve
the purchases of the vehicles requested by
the Park Board, with the exception that the
sedan to be purchased for the Park Director
would not include air conditioning. This
action was taken at regular Council meeting.
2. Sale of City-owned Park Property - KD - prepare IR
M&C L-256
Council requc!:ted that the proposed
sale of Park property to the State for right-
of-way purposes be delayed for one week, and
th•1t additional information concerning the
agreement between Lhe City Council and the
State for right-of-way on this project be
provided, and that a statement from the
Park Hoard be obtained outlinin, its posi
pion concerning =he sale of this property.

sensus of Council was continue distribution
of the monthly Newsletter in view of the
interest evidenced by the postcard poll.
4. Tierney Road Land Acquisitions NAN
(M&C L-249 to L-251)
The City Land Agent and Tax Assess-
or were present to discuss the Tierney Road
Land Acquisition M&C's which had been de-
layed at the November 4 Council meeting.
The Land Agent outlined procedures used
in arriving at the price per square foot
for properties purchased on chis project,
and reported that the price per square
foot for partial takings was greater than
the total price per square foot for the
entire parcel as carried on the tax roles
by the Tax Assessor. Consensus of Council
was to approve the M&C's, and this action
was taken at regular meeting.
