Hamm I t e m Follow-Up 1 , Realignment of Floodway in Forest and Trinity HAN Parks The Park & Recreation Director explained maps showing the realignment of. the Corps of Engineers Floodway in Forest and Trinity Parks , according to the recent agree- ment between all parties . Mayor Barr asked if the City was taking; title to the land. The Park Director replied that perpetual easements were being; exchanged among Qarties concerned, and not deeds , 2. Action on 1965-66 Budget NAN The City Manager said that this would be the best date for the Council to set the tax rate and adopt the budget, so that necessary administrative action could be taken before October 1, but that this was always sub- ject to any changes throughout the year the Council de- sired to make 3. Meacham Field Control Tower Site Laaee and Con- NAN tract for Engineering Services for West Side De- velopment (M&C's C-569 and C-571) Mayor Pro-Tem Jones asked if the $9,000 cost in the last paragraph of MSC C-571 included all costs . The City Manager replied it did. 4. Regulation of Street Food Fending Vehicles EHD - have ordinance drafted , in- (I.R. #805) corporating suggestions of Council Members„ Place on Pre-Council Councilman Hamm inquired about the suggestion Conference Agenda for 9/20/65. that no vending vehicle may be parked within 35 feet of another vehicle in the street, or within a 100 feet of an intersection. He suggested that this item also include provision for limiting distance from another place of business dispensing food or drink. He said that the street food vendors were creating unfair competition for established eating establishments , and that the length of stop might be controlled, or somehow the matter should LFT. be covered in the suggested ordinance. Councilman �Stovall said that he had received complaints from EstesPacking Company about street food vendors in that area, S�il�'.
