Councilman Stovall requested a list of the current members of the 'Zoning Commission and Planning Commission who should be recommended for the long term and short term appointments, by next week. Councilman Yemble moved to adopt a resolution of thanks to the Special Zoning Study Committee, the Zoning Commission, the City Planning; Department staff, the Real latate Association, and all others who have been involved in making these recommendations to the Council on zoning wat_ters, The Council unanimously adopted the resolution. 2. Consulting; Engineering Fees - Long-33rd Street NAN (M&C C-922) There were no questions on this item at the Pre- council Conference, and at the regular meeting M&C C-922 w.o; approved unanimously. _ 6. Truck Purchases NAN The City Manager reported that the truck purchases on the .tg%,enda today involve an expenditure of $270,000, which is ;120,000 under the budgeted amount for these truck:,. Councilman Hamm said he had received a report on the u,oe of cement asbestos pipe by the City, and he noted that f the City has already taken alternate bids on this type of s j pipe on certain jobs.
