The City Manager, e' ,+ tic Works Director, and the independent appraiser on project , Mr. Jack Haight, made preliminary statements the enhancement in value by the improvements. 3 Mr. Jimmy Lovell said he opposed paving Ripy from i , freeway west. Mrs. Maria Montez asked about sidewalks in the area. Ate Public Works Director said that sidewalks are planned for the north side of Butler Street leading to the elemen- .,a-v school. Mr. Earl Jones complained that this property is not wtiefitted by the paving work. Mr. '11iomas Losquez wanted to know what his assess- ment would be. He was informed. Mr. Lewis Sisneros said that tie had received two notices with different assessments amounts on them. The cliblic Works Director said the first notice probably in- cluded a sidewalk assessment which later was eliminated. A motion to close the hearing and to levy the as- essments as proposed was approved unanimously. Improvements to Meandering Road (Bomber Road) HOWARD - will discuss with r;D (IR #1210) officials. Mayor McKinley asked if there is an easement across ,Le Federal conclave at General Dynamics. The City Manager replied that apparently there is not. Mayor McKinley asked who maintains the present roadway. The City Manager replied that the Cityof Fort Worth does. Mayor McKinley said that Crank Davis told him the City has an easement for this road. Councilman Dunham said that the Rugional Board does get regular reports and that the Board represents the City. At the regular meting, Mayor McKinley continued the discussion of this matter by asking if the Council had any uggesLions. Councilman Dunham made a motion to ask the present temporary Regional Airport Board to continue its work and to study all alternatives for building the airport, includ- iit� participation of other communities. There followed a short discussion of what part the other communities might have in theprofect, with the con- sunsus that this alternative should be studied by the Council's advisory Regional Airport Board, and the motion was approved. _ ■
