Generally, the scope of the additional services requested by the IT Department includes changing the configuration of the cable trays entering the building from the tower to reduce the total length and size of the cable. The specific scope is identified below. SCOPE OF WORK 1. Revise sheet A2.01, Floor Plan, elevations, and Section to reflect a change in the City's strategy for cableways to enter the building from the tower. In lieu of entering on the north and south sides, the ports will be located on the East side. They shall be aligned with the outside edges of the racks, and centered with the racks. There will be a total of 4 entry ports in lieu of six. This is to be performed on a separate drawing sheet Al as Option B so the City may use the original plan at future tower sites. 2. Change 2 (4") conduits on the site plan and the power plan to (4) - 2" as the City has decided they will need more conduits but they can be smaller. Refer to E2.1: The 2 (4") conduit along the east side should be changed to (4) 2" and should stub up along the east wall just south of the door and not go all the way to the west wall. Also on this sheet, at the transformer the note should be changed to (2) 6". Coordinate these changes throughout the set. 3. The water department wants (4)2"stub ups in the NE corner along the east wall that extend outward (north) 5'north of the fence 4. Show the condenser units on the site plan and relocate the fence as close as possible to the units as requested by the water department to provide adequate clearance for a future 36 line south of the building between the building and the transformer pad. Coordinate this with Water Department. 5. We received the R56 manuals From the City today. Due to the volume of these manuals we are not prepared to address any change in scope to our work that may be required at this time since we have already submitted final drawings. I will pass this information on to the consultant and will address that portion of the work next week if it is appropriate.
