AMENDMENT NO. 13 TO AGREEMENT FOR ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN SERVICES RENOVATE and EXPAND the GENERAL TERMINAL BUILDING at MEACHAM INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT STATE OF TEXAS § I, § CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT NO. COUNTY OF TARRANT § WHEREAS, The City of Fort Worth ("City") and Hahnfeld Associates, Architects and Planners, Inc. made and entered into City Secretary Contract No. 40243 (The Contract) which was authorized by the City Council by M&C C-24215, the 11th day of May, 2010; and Amendment Nos. 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 7,11 and 12 were administratively executed in the amount of $83,160.00 for additional topographic surveys, cost estimates, underground utilities survey, utility easement, new tenant lease space and new FBO revisions; and Amendment No. 5 was approved by M&C C-24980 on June 14, 2011 to complete the design and provide construction administration services in the additional amount of $985,732.50 plus up to $63,680.00 in reimbursable expenses; and Amendment No. 8 was approved by M&C C-26111 on February 19, 2013 to redesign the Project's approved site and revise completed drawings in the additional amount of $85,505.00 plus up to $2,365.00 in reimbursable expenses; and Amendment No.9 was approved by M&C C-26504 on October 15, 2013 for additional redesign fees to accommodate a new FBO within the terminal building in the additional amount of $317,917.00 without additional reimbursable expenses; and Amendment No. 10 was approved by M&C C-26712 on March 18, 2014 for additional redesign fees to accommodate a new FBO within the terminal building in the additional amount of $120,473.00 without additional reimbursable; WHEREAS, further amendment is necessary to incorporate additional requested civil engineering services and changes in the construction drawings to accommodate a new tenant; NOW THEREFORE, City and Hahnfeld Associates, Architects and Planners, Inc. d/b/a Hahnfeld Hoffer Stanford Architects Planner Interiors ("Architect"), collectively (the "Parties") acting by and through their duly authorized representatives, enter into the following agreement: 1. Article 1.1, SECTION I —SERVICES OF THE ARCHITECT, a paragraph is added to read as follows: "Provide additional design service to further modify the Project's currently approved architectural, mechanical and plumbing plans in order to incorporate a new tenant; and additional civil engineering services to expand limits of an proposed easement and produce revised exhibits. The Total cost of these additional services is $18,135.00 without additional reimbursable expense fees. The scope of services are described more fully in the following Hahnfeld Hoffer Stanford's letters, Attachment "A" ($6,700.00) dated January 26, 2015 subject: Amendment Proposal for Additional Services — Survey of Underground Utilities on Lease Property Outside the Meacham Terminal Building Project Limit of Scope, including this letter's attachments noted as Exhibits "A", and Attachment "B" ($11,435.00) dated January 27, 2015 subject: Amendment Proposal for Additional Services — Lower Level Redesign for City of Fort Worth Development Additional Space M — Meacham Airport Terminal Building Renovation — Phase 2, including this letter's attachments M noted as Exhibits "A". Attachments "A & B" are attached hereto, and made a part of this _< Agreement." rr1 0 2. co Paragraph 1 of SECTION V-COMPENSATION TO ARCHITECT, is amended as follows: "The total compensation for all of the assignments to be performed by Architect to complete the Projects as described in CHARACTER AND EXTENT of ARCHITECT'S SERVICES as o addressed in City Secretary Contract No. 40243 and Amendment Nos. 1 through 12 and hereof shall be $1,845,597.50, hereinafter referred to as the 'total fee', plus up to $79,245.00 in reimbursable expenses." This survey was not included in the previous Design Amendment for Oncor Easements survey as the un-surveyed area is outside the limit of scope for the Terminal Building Renovation. Oncor has required easements of this offsite area as part of their work order to provide new electric service to Meacham Terminal Building. Our proposal includes the necessary survey for documentation preparation by our civil engineer, Teague Nall Perkins. Our proposed fee is a lump sum of $6,700.00 (Six Thousand Seven Hundred Dollars, and No Cents). No additional Reimbursable Expenses will be required for this amendment beyond the base contract amount. This proposal includes the assumption this additional documentation would conclude in the winter of 2015. This amendment is separate and in addition to the amendment dated October 17, 2014. Per recent coordination, Oncor identified the need to extend the electrical easement limits to include the existing electrical main south of the terminal building. This will require the additional scope to include locating (SUE QL 'B") the existing electrical primary loop within the Airport property, south of the terminal, and preparing additional Electrical Easement Exhibits to be used with standard front end documents provided by Oncor. This additional service will be provided under the terms of the original agreement. Based on the additional services, the contract amendment will be: SUE (QL "B"): TNP will locate the Primary Electric line, south of the Terminal Building and north of Runway 27, using nondestructive methods identified in the original professional service contract. The field locates will be provided in an electronic points file for additional coordination with the design team. Two Thousand Dollars ($2,000) Electrical Easement Exhibits: TNP will prepare the Legal Description (Exhibit A) & Layout (Exhibit B) for the Electrical Easement required by Oncor Delivery. The Consultant will coordinate with the Owner and Oncor on the alignment and size of the electrical easement.The effort also includes additional field work associated with the easement documents. The suite will consist of a Private Office (152 SQFT), Storage (77 SQFT), and Open Office Area (868 SQFT). WORK CLARIFICATIONS 1. The design will be based upon available as built documents as well as the shell space drawings created in the base project. Site survey is not included in this proposal. 2. One conference call is included for coordination. 3. One site visit at substantial completion is included to prepare a punch list. 4. Preparation of the ComCheck is included.
