MEMORANDUM

RE: DESIGN FEE AMENDMENT NO. 2 TO SANITARY SEWER MAIN
C1C4B DRAINAGE AREA SANITARY SEWER EVALUATION STUDY
AND IMPROVEMENTS (GROUP 6, CONTRACT 2) SEWER PROJECT
NO. PS46-070460410230
The proposed amendment will reimburse Wade & Associates, Inc. for the additional de-
sign, survey services they provided on the project as requested by the City.
The Water Department requested that design be provided for an additional 500 feet of
severely deteriorated sewer pipe and included in Parts 11 and 12 of the project. In addi-
tion, in order to comply with current City criteria, the consultant had to make numerous
revisions to the contract documents for the Parts 8, 11 and 12 projects.
Wade & Associates, Inc., has requested reimbursement in the amount of$14,902.49 for
the additional design services, thereby increasing the contract fee from $1,193,953.07 to
$1,208,855.56. I believe this fee is fair and reasonable for additional design services.
Please authorize the additional fee by your signatures on the attached contract amend-
ment form.
