CONCERNS AND UTILITIES FOR THE CONVENIENCE OF THE PUBLIC, BY LI11ITING PARKING TO THIRTY (30) MINUTES IN CERTAIN DESIGNATED AREAS; PROVIDING THAT THIS ORDINANCE SHALL BE CUPNLATIVE OF ALL OTH1ER ORDINANCES AFFECTING TRAFFIC; PROVIDING F1OR A PENALTY FOR THE VIOLATION HPREOF IN A SUM OF MONEY NOT TO EXCEED ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100,00); PROVIDING A SAVINGS CLAUSE; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT 14ORTH, TEXAS: SECTION to That Section 1 of Ordinance Nod 2759 be amended to read as follows: That any area-way, parkway, traffic-way or parking space owned or controlled by any public service concern, public service utility company, terminal company, rail- road or other quasi-public corporation or public concern, designed for the temporary parking of patrons of such public concern, utility or corporation, be and the same is hereby subjected to the following control and regula- tion: That no person, firm or corporation, or any person having control of any motor vehicle, or vehicle of any kind, shall park upon or in any such space owned or con- trolled by a public service corporation or public service concern mentioned herein for a longer period than two (2) hours, which said time is fixed as a reasonable length of time in which any person may so occupy any private property owned or controlled by such public service cor- poration or public concern set aside and designed for use of the public having business to transact with such public service corporation or public service concern; provided, however, that no vehicle shall be parked longer than thirty (30) minutes on the west side of the private street on the Texas & Pacific Railway Company properties' west curb line of said street, which opens onto Nest Lancaster, which is at a point 431 feet from the center line of Jennings Avenue, and the east curb line of said street is 260 feet, from the center line of the intersection of Throckmorton and West. Lancaster, said street being 42 feet wsdeo SECTION 2.. This ordinance shall be and is hereby declared to be cumulative of all other ordinances of the City of Fort Worth affecting traffic and shall not operate to repeal or affect any such ordinance or ordinances, except insofar as the provisions of such ordinance or ordinances are inconsistent or in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance, in which instance or instances those provisions shall be and they are hereby repealed, SECTION 3Q Any person, -fi Mn or corporation violating any of the provisions of this ordinance shall, upon conviction thereof., be fined a sum of money not to exceed One Hundred Dollars ($100.00), and each dayts violation thereof shall constitute a separate offense, SECTION 40 Should any section, provision or part of this ordinance be de- clared unconstitutional and void by a court of competent jurisdiction, such decision shall in no way affect the validity of any of the remaining parts of this ordinance, unless the part held unconstitutional or void is in- separable from and indispensable to the operation of the remaining parts,, The City Council hereby declared that it would have passed those parts of this ordinance which are valid and omitted any parts which may be uncon- stitutional if it had known that such parts -n*ere unconstitutional at the time of the passage of this ordinance, SECTION 5 This ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and effect from and after the date of its passage and publication as provided by law,.
