WHEREAS, The City of Fort Worth and RPGA Design Group, Inc. (Architect) made and entered into City
Secretary Contract No. 40667•(The Contract)which was authorized by the City Council by M&C G-16991,
the 20th day of July, 2007; and amended as Amendment No. 1 on the 23rd day of September, 2010 in the
amount of $33,850.00 plus $6,000.00 in reimbursable expenses; and amended as Amendment No. 2 on
the 16th daY OF May, 2011 in the amount of$17,400.00 plus up to$0.00 in reimbursable expenses; and
WHEREAS, further amendment is necessary to reimburse the Architect as part of the design services
agreement for additional design services for Site Adaptation and ARFF Modifications of the "Prototype
Fire Station" ; and to attain LEED Certification Level-Silver
NOW THEREFORE, City and Architect, acting herein by and through their duly authorized
representatives,enter into the following agreement which amends the Contract:
1.
Article 1.1, SECTION I -- SERVICES OF THE ARCHITECT, the following paragraphs are added to read
as follows:
"Provide additional professional services for providing probable cost of utility infrastructure to the
site for Fire Station #42. The cost of this additional service is $5,170.00 plus up to $0.00 in
reimbursable expenses. The scope of services is described more fully in the RPGA letter dated
March 3, 2015, subject: Fire Station #42 - Probable Construction Cost of Utility Infrastructure to
site, Fort Worth, Texas which is attached hereto as Attachment "A" and made a part of this
Agreement.
2.
Paragraph 1 of SECTION V-COMPENSATION TO ARCHITECT, is amended as follows:
"The total compensation for all of the assignments to be performed by Architect as described in
CHARACTER AND EXTENT of ARCHITECT'S SERVICES hereof shall be a fixed fee of
$271,717.00 plus up to$11,750.00 in reimbursable expenses. "
3.
All other provisions of this Contract which are not expressly amended herein shall remain in full force and
effect.

RE: Fire Station#42—Probable Construction Cost of Utility Infrastructure to site
Fort Worth, Texas
Mr. Glass:
In order that we might reach a clear understanding, please accept this as our proposal
regarding our Opinion of Probable Construction Cost to provide utility services for the
proposed Fire Station#42 site at Fort Worth's Spinks Airport. The site is located on the
northwest side of the Spinks Airport on airport property.
RPGA Design Group will be working with KSA Engineers (Civil Engineering Consultant
currently working with Spinks Airport) to provide the following services:
A. Our team will provide an Opinion of Probable Construction Costs (OPCC) to provide
utility services to the proposed Fire Station#42 site. The team will coordinate with the
local franchise utility companies to obtain estimates. OPCC for the following utilities will
be provided:
a. Water Service
b. Sanitary Sewer Service
c. Gas Service
d. Electrical Service
e. Telephone Service
• Fiber Optic Cable and Cable Service utilities are excluded from this proposal
• Services beyond OPCC are excluded-from this proposal
• Prices shown on our OPCC will be based upon recent bid prices. Actual
construction price may vary upon final design requirements and bid prices.
B. Upon receipt of the "Notice to Proceed" RPGA estimates between 3 and 4 weeks to
complete these services
C. Our proposed fee for these services will be as follows:

Probable Construction Cost of Utility Infrastructure to site
• General Project Administration $1,870.00
• Establish OPCC for Proposed Site $3.300.00
• Total Fees $5,170.00
Service fees and reimbursable expenses (if any) for all services will be billed on a
monthly basis as they accrue.
D. Additional Services may be performed as requested by the City of Fort Worth and may
include modifications beyond the scope of work indicated. Compensation for major
variances to the agreed-upon services will be billed on an hourly basis.
E. The City of Fort Worth shall provide full information regarding the requirements of the
services, and RPGA shall be entitled to rely upon the accuracy and completeness
thereof, including, but not limited to, all site information, including complete legal site
data and restrictions, as well as, all essential information that may be supplied by
subcontractors or consultants retained by the Owner.
If the above items reflect your understanding of our agreement and the proposal is to your
satisfaction, please sign two copies of this proposal and return them to RPGA Design
Group.
