AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND EXTINGUISHING A PORTION
OF LEUDA STREET FROM CALHOUN STREET TO ARIZONA
AVENUE, LOCATED ADJACENT TO LOTS 47 THROUGH 50
TUCKERS ADDITION AN ADDITION TO THE CITY OF FORT
WORTH, TARRANT COUNTY TEXAS AS RECORDED IN VOLUME
63, PAGE 124 OF THE PLAT RECORDS OF TARRANT COUNTY
TEXAS, CONTAINING APPROXIMATELY 30,551 SQUARE FEET
OR 0.70 ACRES OF LAND• PROVIDING FOR THE REVERSION OF
FEE IN SAID LAND• THE RETAINMENT OF EXISTING UTILITY
EASEMENTS, REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT
HEREWITH, AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH,
TEXAS
SECTION 1
That a portion of Leuda Street, being a 55 foot wide public nght-of way located adjacent to
Blocks 47 through 50 Tuckers Addition, an addition to the City of Fort Worth, Tarrant County
Texas as recorded m Volume 63 Page 124 of the Plat Records of Tarrant County Texas,
containing 30,551 square feet, or 0 7014 acres of land more or less, and as more specifically
described in Exhibit 1 `2" and `3 attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, be
and the same is vacated and extinguished.
SECTION 2.
That all existing utility easements shall be retained by the City until such time all utilities
located in that easement are relocated at the owner's expense
SECTION 3.
That the fee to the land m the above-described street is released and shall revert to the
adjacent owner as provided by law
SECTION 4.
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION 5.
That this ordinance shall take effect upon adoption.

RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the City Council adopt an ordinance vacating a portion of Leuda Street from
Calhoun Street to Arizona Avenue containing approximately 30 551 square feet or 0 70 acres located
adjacent to Lots 47 50 Tuckers Addition as recorded in Volume 63 Page 124 P R.TC T
DISCUSSION
Mori's Engineering Inc. has requested the above referenced vacation on behalf of Oak Timbers-Fort Worth
South LP of Fort Worth The Engineering Department, Real Property Services Division states that the
purchase fee of $100 00 has been waived per right-of-way dedication on the adjoining replat. Reviewing
City departments and public utility companies have raised no objections to this request. The City Plan
Commission recommended approval of this request at its meeting on September 28 2005 The right-of-way
being vacated is being retained as an easement for existing utilities. A suitable re-plat (FS-05-217) has
been received
This vacation is located in COUNCIL DISTRICT 8
