HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance 16946-05-2006ORDINANCE NO 16946-OS-2006 AN ORDINANCE VACATING RIGHT OF WAY LABELED OREA WAY LOCATED ADJACENT TO LOT 4, TRINITY INDUSTRIAL PARK, AN ADDITION TO THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TARRANT COUNTY TEXAS AS RECORDED IN CABINET A, SLIDE 175 OF THE PLAT RECORDS OF TARRANT GOUTY TEXAS AND CONTAINING 57,514 SQUARE FEET OR 1.32 ACRES OF LAND MORE OR LESS, PROVIDING FOR THE REVERSION OF FEE IN SAID LAND• THE RETAINMENT OF EXISTING UTILITY EASEMENTS, REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH, AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS SECTION 1 That a right of way labeled Orea Way located adjacent to Lot 4 Trinity Industrial Park, an addition to the City of Fort Worth, Tarrant County Texas as recorded in Cabinet A, Slide 175 of the Plat Records of Tarrant County Texas and containing 57,514 square feet or 1.32 acres of land, more or less and as more specifically described m Exhibit 1 `2" and `3 attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, be and the same ~s vacated and extinguished. SECTION 2. That the fee to the land m the above-described street right-of way is released and shall revert to the adjacent owner as provided by law SECTION 3. That all existing utility easements shall be retained by the City until such time all utilities located in that easement are relocated at the owner's expense. SECTION 4. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. SECTION 5. That this ordinance shall take effect upon adoption. The City Plan Commission recommended approval of this request at its meeting on December 23 2005 The right-of-way being vacated is being retained as an easement for existing utilities This vacation is located in COUNCIL DISTRICT 5 FISCAL INFORMATION/CERTIFICATION The Finance Director certifies that this action will have no material effect on City funds.
