The first publication of said advertisement shall be not less than ten (10) days before the date herein set for opening of Bids. Davis Re: Paving on Donnelly Ave., City Manager Littlepage St., Neville Iiiilding St,, and an Alley (AP 58-8y- Project No. 84�B2-174 Dear Sir: In connection with the proposed paving of Donnelly Avenue, littlepage Street, Neville Street, and the Alley between Vest Ie.ncaster and Bledsoe Street from University Drive to Norwood Street, the following documents are attached: 2. Report of Public Works Director, to be filed with the Specifications 3. Ordinance approving the Specifications 3=-A. Copy of the Specifications The Specifications state that the project will be advertised on Tuesday, April 222 1958, for bids to be received on Tuesday, May 6, 1958. Alley Bet, West Lancaster & Bledsoe from University Dr, to Norwood St. 3471 11®22-57 The attached summary of Cost shows the estimated total cost of these improvements to be $55,100.00 with the Property Owners to pay $22,700000 and the City to pay the balance of $32,400.00. A previow Appropriation Request for $800.00 was approved for the City's cost of paving the Alley. We recommend that the attached Appropriation Request for $31,600,00 be approved from Bond Fund 84 for the balance of the City's portion of the cost, and that the attached Ordinance be adopted so that the project may be advertised for bids as stated above.
