(No M&C Needed) COUNTY OF TARRANT S WHEREAS, the City of Fort Worth (City) and LOPEZGARCIA GROUP formerly Wendy Lopez & Associates, Inc. , (Engineer) made and entered into City Secretary Contract No. 26994, (the Contract) which was authorized by the City Council by M&C C-18701 on the 9th day of August 2001; and subsequently revised by six previous amendments; and WHEREAS, the Contract involves engineering services for the following project: Engineering contract for the design of Water and Sanitary Sewer Extension for Bryson Tract Area. WHEREAS, it has become necessary to execute Amendment No. 7 to said Contract to include an increased scope of work and revised maximum fee; NOW THEREFORE, City and Engineer, acting herein by and through their duly authorized representatives, enter into the following agreement which amends the Contract: 1 . Article I of the Contract is amended to include the additional engineering services specified in a proposal letter dated December 17, 2004, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein. The cost to City for the additional design services to be performed by Engineer total $4, 324 . 10 . 2 . Article II of the Contract is amended to provide for an increase in the maximum fee to be paid to Engineer for all work and services performed under the Contract, as amended, so that the total fee paid by the City for all work and services S11 not exceed the sum of $136, 843 .36 . 101; flC-- 1A � My She IV FT, WNTRI EX. The additional design services are as described below. A detailed breakdown of the proposed fees for these additional services is also attached. Our proposed engineering fee for the additional work includes the following: 1. Remove two (2) private service sheets from D.O.E. 3312 bid documents and insert them in Contract 2001 WSM-N bid documents. . 2. Prepare new location map for Bryson Tract services project. 3. Coordinate and update sheet references and notes according to WSM-N documents. 4. Update Engineer's Opinion of Probable Construction Cost. 5. Update Bid Proposal for Contract 2001 WSM-N bid documents. 6. Attend one (1) Contract 2001 WSM-N pre-construction conference. 7. Attend one (1) construction meeting with EMS-ISD. 8. Attend one (1) City of Fort Worth coordination meeting. These additional efforts are considered outside our original scope of work, and we therefore request a contract amendment to increase the lump sum fee amount by $4,324.10 (See attached Cost Proposal Summary and Detail).
