AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CITY ORDINANCE NO 15972, BY
INCREASING THE NUMBER OF LIMOUSINES WHICH SILVER WEST
LIMOUSINE INCORPORATED IS AUTHORIZED TO OPERATE UPON THE
PUBLIC STREETS, ALLEYS AND THOROUGHFARES OF THE CITY FROM
ELEVEN (11) TO TWENTY-ONE (21) PROVIDING THAT THE FINDINGS AND
RECITATIONS CONTAINED IN THE PREAMBLE ARE THE FINDINGS OF
THE CITY COUNCIL, PROVIDING FOR WRITTEN ACCEPTANCE OF THIS
ORDINANCE BY SILVER WEST LIMOUSINE INCORPORATED MAKING
THIS ORDINANCE CUMULATIVE OF ALL ORDINANCES PROVIDING A
SEVERABILITY CLAUSE, AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS on May 11 2004 Silver West Limousine Incorporated ("Company") was
granted the privilege to use the present and future streets, alleys and public thoroughfares of
the City of Fort Worth, Texas, in its business of providing public limousine service within the City's
municipal limits with eleven (11) limousines
WHEREAS on May 17 2006 Company submitted a request, Ordinance No 15972 to
increase the number of limousines the Company is authorized to operate in the City of Fort
Worth from eleven (11) to twenty-one (21)
WHEREAS Company has requested that the City amend its grant of privilege to allow
an increase in the number of limousines upon the City streets, and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the public necessity and convenience require the
increase of limousines, and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to further amend City Ordinance No 15972, to
increase the number of limousines which Company is authorized to operate in the City of Fort
Worth from eleven (11) to twenty (21)
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FORT WORTH, TEXAS
SECTION 1
That Ordinance No 15972, of the City of Fort Worth Texas is hereby further amended
by increasing the number of limousines which Company is authorized to operate upon the public
streets, alleys and thoroughfares of the City of Fort Worth from eleven (11) to twenty-one (21)
SECTION 2
That the findings and recitations contained in the preamble hereof are expressly
incorporated into and made a part of this ordinance as the findings of the City Council
SECTION 3.
That, after adoption of this ordinance Company shall file with the City Secretary written
acceptance of the terms and provisions hereof Such acceptance of and agreement to the
provisions of this ordinance shall be evidenced by the signature of the authorized representative
of Company on the final page of this ordinance
SECTION 4.
That the provisions of this ordinance shall be and are hereby declared to be cumulative
of all provisions of the Code of the City of Fort Worth, Texas (1986) as amended with respect
to the regulation and operation of public limousine service within the City's municipal limits and
in the event of conflict between the provisions of this ordinance and such Code the provisions
of the City Code shall govern and prevail
SECTION 6.
That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from the date of the written
acceptance referred to in Section 3 hereof

Adopt Ordinance Amending City Ordinance No 15972 to Increase the Number of Limousines Silver
West Inc d/b/a Silver West Limousines is Authorized to Operate on City Streets Alleys and

RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the City Council approve an amendment to City Ordinance No 15972 increasing the
number of limousines from 11 to 21 that Silver West Inc. d/b/a Silver West Limousines is authorized to
operate on city streets, alleys and thoroughfares of the City of Fort Worth
DISCUSSION
On May 11 2004 (M&C G-14353) the City Council adopted City Ordinance No 15972 which authorized
Silver West Limousines to operate 11 limousines on city streets alleys and thoroughfares of the city of Fort
Worth
On May 17 2006 Silver West Limousines submitted a request to increase the number of limousines from
11 to 21 the Company is authorized to operate The Company is requesting the increase to better meet
service demands in the limousine market and ensures the Silver West Limousines entire operational fleet
meets the city ordinance requirements
The increase in the number of limousines authorized to operate is estimated to generate an additional
$250 00 in annual grant of privilege fees.

The Finance Director certifies that Municipal Court is responsible for the collection and deposit of all fees
due to the City
