Ordinance No ~~ J©F~--- j-~S~ AN ORDINANCE INCREASING ESTIMATED RECEIPTS AND APPROPRIATIONS IN THE CONTRACT STREET MAINTENANCE FUND IN THE AMOUNT OF $11 120 564 FROM AVAILABLE FUNDS FOR THE PURPOSE OF FUNDING A PORTION OF THE FISCAL YEAR 2005-2006 STREET MAINTENANCE PROGRAM; MAKING THIS ORDINANCE CUMULATIVE OF PRIOR ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS SECTION 1 That in addition to those amounts allocated to the various City departments for Fiscal Year 2005- 2006 in the Budget of the City Manager there shall also be increased estimated receipts and appropriations in the Contract Street Maintenance Fund in the amount of $11 120 564 from available funds for the purpose of funding a portion of the FY 2005-2006 Street Maintenance Program SECTION 2 That should any portion, section or part of a section of this ordinance be declared invalid, inoperative or void for any reason by a court of competent jurisdiction, such decision opinion or judgment shall in no way impair the remaining portions, sections, or parts of sections of this ordinance, which said remaining provisions shall be and remain in full force and effect. Adopt the attached appropriation ordinance increasing estimated receipts and appropriations in the Contract Street Maintenance Fund in the amount of $11 120 564 00 from available funds to fund a portion of the FY2005-2006 Street Maintenance program DISCUSSION In the FY2005-2006 budget cycle $11 120 564 00 was allocated for the Contract Street Maintenance Program from the General Fund Each year funds for major maintenance contracts are consolidated from the General Fund and other funding sources to the Contract Street Maintenance Fund to keep track of annual expenditures.
