AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING THAT EAST BROADWAY
STREET BETWEEN LUXTON STREET AND LONEY STREET
AND LUXTON STREET FROM THE SOUTH BOUNDARY OF
EAST BROADWAY STREET NORTH TO THE TEXAS AND
PACIFIC RAILWAY COMPANY RIGHT OF WAY BE VA-
CATED, ABANDONED AND CLOSED; PROVIDING FOR
THE REVERSION OF THE INTEREST OF THE CITY OF
FORT WORTH IN SAID LAND; REPEALING ALL ORDI-
NANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FORT WORTH, TEXAS:
SECTION 1.
That East Ocoadway Street between Luxton Street
and Loney Street and Luxton Street from the south boundary
of East Broadway Street north to the Texas and Pacific
Railway Company right of way be and the same are hereby
closed, abandoned and permanently vacated as streets or
public thoroughfares of any kind or character whatever,
save and except that easements are retained for existing
utilities, right of access to existing facilities and fire
lane.
SECTION 2.
That the interest of the City of Fort Worth in the
fee to the land in said streets is hereby released and shall
revert to the adjacent owners of the fee as provided by law.
SECTION 3.
That all ordinances or its of ordinances in con-
flict herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4.
That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full
force and effect from and after the date of its passage.
