V11EREAS, Section 16 of Chapter Y.VTII of the Charter
of the City of Fort Forth provides that the City Council may,
at the request of the City Manager or upon its own motion,
appoint boards or commissions to be composed, of such number
Of citizens as the Council may deem expedient to act in an ad-
visory capacity in conjunction with any one or more of the
departments created or authorized by the Chaster; N(V, THERE-
FORE,
BE IT ORnAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE: CITY OF
FORT WORTH, TEXAS:
-ECTION 3 .
The City Council may appoint an a0vi.sorY utility board
composed of seven citizens of the CitY of Tort North to act
in an advisory capacity to the City Manager, his staff and the
City Council in connection with the review of utility rate
applications. The members of such advisory board, shall each
serve for a two year term, shall serge without compensation,
and may be removed at any time by the City Council.
SE'C'TION 2.
This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after the date of it.s passage, and it is so ordained.
