REED Greater Mt. Tabor Missionary Baptist Church, owner of all abutting
property, has requested that the City vacate a utility easement
collinear with the common lot line of Lot 4, Block 5, and Lot 9,
Block 4, Sheraton Sub. , 10 feet in width and 115 feet in length from
Edgewood Terrace eastward to a point 5 feet west of the center line
of North/South 10' utility easement crossing Lots 3 and 4, Block 5,
and Lot 9, Block 4, Sheraton Sub. of TKACZ Addition out of Tract 10,
G. J. Ashabranner Survey, as shown on the attached map.
The subject easement, acquired by dedication, is not in use and con-
tains no public facilities. City departments and private utility
companies have reviewed this request and have no objections provided
the vacated easement is replatted with abutting properties. A satis-
factory replat has been submitted to the City staff.
The City Plan Commission has reviewed this request and recommends
that an ordinance be adopted vacating subject easement as requested.
Recommendation
It is recommended that an ordinance be adopted vacating subject
easement as recommended by the City Plan Commission.
