AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE VACATING, ABANDONING
AND CLOSING OF THE EAST 30 FEET RIGHT OF WAY OF OHIO
GARDEN RORD FOR THE ENTIRE LENGTH OF IAT "30, FAIR
HILLS ADDITION TO THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TARRANT
COUNTY, TEXAS, AND FOR THE CLOSING AND VACATING OF
ALL EXISTING EASEMENTS IN LOTS "A" AND "3" OF SAID
ADDITIONt PROVIDING FOR THE REVERSION OF THE INTER-
EST OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH IN SAID LAND REPEAL-
ING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVID-
ING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
HE IT ORDAIN73D BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
WORTH, TBXASs
SECTION 1.
That the east 30 feet right of way of Ohio Barden Road
for the entire length of Lot "a", Fair Hills Addition to the
City of Fort Korth, Tarrant County, Texas, be and the same is
hereby closed, abandoned and permanently vacated as a street
or public thoroughfare of any kind or character whateverr and
that all existing easements in Lots "A" and "a" of said
Addition be and the sama are hereby extinguished, vacated,
closed and permanently abandoned as sewer, drainage and utility
easements.
SECTION 2.
That the interest of the City of Fort Worth in the fee
to the land in said street and easements above described is
hereby releesed and shall revert to the adjacent owner of the
fee as provided by lase.
SECTION 3.
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4.
That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full
force and effect from and after the date of its passage.

Sleepy Hollow, Inc. has requested that the City vacate the east 30 feet right-
of-way of Ohio Garden Road for the entire length of Lot B, Fair Hills Addition
and all of the sewer, drainage and utility easements in Lots A and B, Fair
Kills Addition as shown on the attached map.
The applicant owns Lots A and B, and, if the request is granted, intends to
utilize the vacated right-of-way for additional building area. This portion
of the right-of-way, acquired by dedication, is not paved.
City Departments have reviewed right-of-way requirements for Ohio Garden Road
and have determined that subject right-of-way is not necessary for the proper
development of this street.
City Departments and private utility companies have reviewed this request and
have no objections provided the applicant plats the vacated right-of-way with
adjoining property and provides all necessary sewer, drainage and utility
easements.
The City Plan Commission has reviewed this request and recommends adoption of an
ordinance vacating the public right-of-way and easements as requested, subject
to the conditions recommended above by the City departments and private utility
companies. The applicant has submitted a replat which incorporates the
conditions requested by the City Plan Commission.
Recommendation
It is recommended that an ordinance be adopted vacating subject rights-of-way as
recommended by the City Plan Commission.
