Powell and providing for the counter- signing of all warrants by the City Auditor. Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of the city of Fort Worth that Section 10 of Chapter 2 of Title 1 of the Revised City ;in�r+nu� nf the efty of Wort Vorth as codified by-William D. Williams and T. J. Powell be ammended so as to hereafter Bead as follows: Section 10 WARRANTS, CLAIMS: The City Treasurer hereafter shall pay no claims, warrants or order of any kind whatever that may be drawn on the city treasurery, unless the same shall show upon its face that the Board of Commissioners directed its issuance and for what purpose; provided that every claim, warrant or order, shall be signed by the r?ayor and gountersigned by the City Auditor and City Secretary and acttested by the ;,S9ecretary under the seal of the city. �? Sec. 2. That all ordinances and parts of ordinances in con- flict herewith be and the same are hereby re &&- an4- t die M ' ordinance be in effect from and after the date of its passage.
